Merry Christmas! 2016

Wow, what a year.

Did 2016 ever fly by! Where did the time go! Just thinking that it is already Christmas and in a few days it will be a whole new year…that is crazy.

To think, in four short months I will be done a Bachelor’s degree at the age of 20 is insane. I still feel like a kid…especially when I come home to my parents house for Christmas! I love this time of year though, even if it means another year has passed us. Lessons have been learned and knowledge as been attained. Things you never would have thought you would do, are done and new memories have been made. New friends are welcomed into your life and maybe some old ones have slipped away.

Whatever your situation was this year, I hope your Christmas was merry and bright and your tummy is full of good & yummy food. Remembering what Christmas is really about is the most important thing. If you haven’t talked to a relative in a while, maybe today is a good day to call and let them know that you’re thinking about them. Small gestures really do make a difference. I know that in my house hold, its not the most expensive gift that is liked the most, it is the most thoughtful one…. and usually they are homemade!

The Grinch is a Christmas tradition for me, I watch it every year. It all started when I was very young and my auntie got me hooked on the cartoon version because it was the only one available at the time! To this day, I watch this video on VHS because old school is the way to go!

A close up of my mothers Christmas tree. I always admire her tree. It is full full full! There will never be a tree more full of ornaments than this one is! She has ornaments that my sister and I made when we were very young right besides her expensive ones. She loves a full tree and now I do to. Its funny how much your parents traditions rub off on you.

Anyways, Have a Merry Christmas!

xoxo
